The Icestone Group – which runs stores under the Icestone Desserts and Mi Chaii names – has added fast food restaurant Moodys to their portfolio.
Their first location will open on Legrams Lane in Lidget Green on Monday, February 20.
Mab Hussain, Icestone Group chief executive, feels the company’s reputation will help Moody’s be a success.
He said: “We have been going for almost a decade now as the Icestone franchise.
“I have always been around the fast food game. We have already sold eight Moodys franchises.

“We have got the history so when our group does something people know it is going to be big.
“We don’t cut corners. We are trusted within the community.”
The Telegraph & Argus was invited for a sneak peek of the new business before launch day next Monday.
The decor is fresh and colourful with the slogan ‘whatever the mood is, it’s always Moody’s’ draped across the walls.
Customers can even play noughts & crosses as a station is set up near the entrance.
There is also a prayer room available inside the restaurant – which is located in Fieldhead Shopping Centre next to the Greggs.
The family-friendly restaurant will serve burgers, pizzas, milkshakes and unique fried chicken.
Mr Hussain added: “It is a restaurant and takeaway.
“The burgers and pizzas are both made in-house.
“We have unique recipes. Nobody does full fried chicken like us.”
Icestone Desserts – which opened as Icestone Gelato in 2013 – has since set up branches across the country.
Mi Chaii only started in September 2019 and has also expanded to other places in the UK.
Last September, Icestone Group won the prize for the best food and drink business of the year at the Yorkshire Asian Business Association Awards (YABA) held at the Cedar Hotel in Bradford.
At the time, Mr Hussain said: “I was shocked when we won the award.
“It’s all down to the hard work of the team, the soldiers in the shops. It is all a team effort.
“The award win shows that hard work pays off and then you get recognised.”
